SHOREDITCH WILD LIFE
by Dougie Wallace
This Autumn sees the release of the fourth title in our series 'East London Photo Stories'

Dougie Wallace captures the best and worst of life in Shoreditch, East London's most colourful area. Either you'll love it or hate it but don't ignore it. Dougie has an unrivalled eye for capturing the humorous, the incongruous and the surprisingly touching drama of everyday life. With another book out from Dewi Lewis already this year and his images doing furious work online he is a street photographer on the rise.

£14.00, 160pp, hardback, quarterbound.
Available on our website in September or shops in October

At Hoxton Mini Press we have thought long and hard about how we want to best represent East London. We are well aware that those two words..'London' and 'East'.. combine in a way that fizzes with alternate associations: gentrification, poverty, irritating hipsters, street markets, jewish history. The answer is we don't want to represent East London in any one way. New and old, rich and poor, modern and historical, we want to work with the best artists to show all sides of this area. We hope you'll join us on the ride.
