East London photographer Johanna Neurath has ventured down Hackney’s Columbia Road nearly every Sunday for the past ten years to visit its flower market. Rather than depicting the obvious prettiness of people and their flowers Neurath turns her attention to the colour and pattern left behind as the market clears out, focussing on strangely beautiful displays in gutters, hazy reflections in windows and the abstract forms created by fag butts and polystyrene cups strewn across the road.
A fully cloth-covered Collector's Edition of Columbia Road by Johanna Neurath presented in a bespoke cloth-covered clamshell box complete with signed and numbered limited edition print.

A fully cloth-covered Collector's Edition of Lost in the City by Nicholas Sack presented in a bespoke cloth-covered clamshell box complete with signed and numbered limited edition print.

Nicholas Sack's black and white photographs of office workers in and around the City of London capture isolated individuals and set them against the imposing architecture of modern London. The work is beautiful but also unnerving and reminds us of the alienation that can be felt in the heart of a city as well as obliquely commenting on the moral uncertainty of the banking practices in the City . The book is accompanied by an introductory essay by the well-known writer Iain Sinclair.

Collector's Edition of Badly Repaired Cars by Ronni Campana, limited to 150 copies. Includes a signed and numbered limited edition print.
Badly Repaired Cars is a bright, bold and humorous documentation of some of the best (or worst) examples of DIY car repairs. Close up photographs of cars held together by tape, plastic and glue fill each frame and begin to take on the qualities of abstract art. A strip of duct tape across a broken headlight becomes powerfully graphic in form; green plastic hanging from a door divides the frame like a Rothko colour wash.
This is Book 2 in a series that celebrates the best in colourful, modern photography.
Edition numbers allocated from lowest to highest as orders are processed. We have now sold editions 1-99. Editions 100-150 remain.

ABOUT THE BOOK:
In 2008 the financial crash hit the City of London. Panic filled the air and people working for the giant money machine seemed oblivious to a photographer working quickly and quietly in their midst. Now, over a decade later, these images question what we have learned... if anything at all.
Stephen McLaren moved to Bethnal Green in 1996, became a photographer, and quickly realised he never wanted to live anywhere else in London other than the East End. Stephen has written a number of books on photography, including 'Photographers’ Sketchbooks', and currently works as a photographer and writer in Los Angeles.

Book 7 from the series 'East London Photo Stories'
‘Columbia Road’ by Johanna Neurath. 96pp hardcover, quarter-bound, gold foiled,199 x 139 mm
This book is also available to buy as a Collector's Edition here.
This book fuses still life and street photography to celebrate the beauty and chaos of one of East London's most famous markets.
Johanna Neurath can proudly say that she was born within the sound of Bow bells and has been a Hackney citizen for all of her adult life. Design Director at an international art book publishers and a self-confessed image junkie, type nerd and bibliophile, she has worked in publishing for more than 25 years as a book designer, picture editor, typographer and commissioning editor. On high days and holidays she takes her own street photographs. This is the first book of her own images.

Book 13 from the series 'East London Photo Stories'
‘Dalston in the 80s’ by Andrew Holligan. 96pp hardcover, quarter-bound, gold foiled, 199 x 139 mm
This book is also available to buy as a Collector's Edition here.
For photographer Andrew Holligan, Dalston in the 80s was a world apart from the New York fashion scene, which until 1984, was where he worked. But when he made the unexpected move there, he found a humanity on the streets of East London that changed him and his art forever.
Shot with a 1950s Rolleiflex, the black and white images accompanied by hand-written notes tell Holligan’s personal story, and also give a glimpse into the lives of numerous other characters he happened to meet during his 2 years spent living in Dalston.
Andrew Holligan has worked all over the place as a photographer – from the Alaskan Tundra in the north to Australian deserts in the south. Now he lives down a secluded country lane surrounded by ancient woodland from where he supplies London restaurants with foraged wild fungi. But before this, he spent the best part of fifteen years living in Hackney, immersing himself in its vibrant art scene. Andrew continues to explore the possibilities of the photographic medium, albeit from a rural perspective.

'Déjà View'. A collaboration between Martin Parr and The Anonymous Project. 144pp, hardback, 205 x 155mm.
This book is a playful conversation between two important bodies of photographic work. Each spread of Déjà View pairs one of Martin Parr’s iconic snapshots with an image from The Anonymous Project’s collection of found amateur photographs taken between the 1950s and 80s. These unnervingly similar ‘twin’ pictures remind us of photography’s greatest power: to intimately preserve everyday moments of humour, warmth, ennui and absurdity.
Martin Parr is one of Britain’s most esteemed and well-loved photographers; he has published around 40 solo photobooks and has been a member of Magnum Photos for nearly 30 years.
The Anonymous Project is dedicated to collecting and preserving mid-century colour slides from around the world. Started in 2017 by filmmaker Lee Shulman, the project brings to light Kodachrome memories that might otherwise be lost forever.

'Dog Show 1961-1978', 80pp, cloth spine, 156mm x 196mm.
Book 3 in the series 'Vintage Britain'
As featured in the Guardian.
When Shirley Baker began taking photographs at dog shows in the 1960s the hairdos of the owners were more impressive than those of their groomed canines. Not only a fascinating portrait of the phenomenon, Dog Show also captures the tender, amusing and at times obsessive relationship between humans and their dogs.
Shirley Baker (1932–2014) was a British social documentary photographer known for her street photographs of working-class areas of Manchester taken in the 1960s and ’70s. Her acute observation and artistic eye can be seen throughout her work, which has been exhibited in the UK and around the world.
With an introduction by Lucinda Gosling. This book is published in collaboration with Mary Evans Picture Library.

Book 6 from the series 'East London Photo Stories'
‘Drivers in the 1980s’ by Chris Dorley-Brown. 96pp hardcover, quarter-bound, gold foiled,199 x 139 mm
This book is also available to buy as a Collector's Edition here.
Chris Dorley-Brown spent two summers in the mid-1980s photographing drivers stuck in traffic jams in and around East London. This series was his first on colour film and was created when he intended to document the privatisation of Rolls Royce but instead became fascinated by the faces in the traffic caused by the sell-off in the city. The cars, colours, haircuts and expressions of frustration capture the mood and tone of a unique era in Thatcher's Britain.
The images, all shot on film of course, have aged like a fine wine and are now ready to be consumed by the discerning connoisseur.
Chris Dorley-Brown’s family has lived in Hackney and Bethnal Green for nearly 200 years. His great-great-grandfather worked as a herbalist near Well Street and subsequent ancestors have included hat makers, ambulance drivers, publicans, landladies, layabouts, lightermen and aldermen. The inspiration for Chris’s pictures and films are the people and places, friends and family he has encountered in this ever-changing and challenging environment.
